The competition starts from the city harbor Skver and the fishing will be done in the waters of Montenegro. Competition lasts three days and the winner is decided based on the size and the type of the fish. Also the winner for the biggest caught fish is given an award. As a part of the Big game fishing tournament there will also be a tournament for children ages between 7 and 14.
In a four day entertainment program, numerous home bands will perform, and there will be a promotion and serving of specialty and other products and fish and wine organized as well. Sport fishing as an ideal blend of entertainment and adventurism is very popular in the world and so here it became an instant attraction thanks to the organizers who for five years now stand behind the project, and they are the Union for sport fishing on the Montenegrin sea, Big game fishing club Herceg Novi and the JK Jugole Grakalic with the support of the Municipality of Herceg Novi and the Tourism organization of Herceg Novi.
