The International Festival of Classical Music Days of Music was founded in Herceg Novi, then it was held in Sveti Stefan for several years, and since its renovation in 2004, it has established itself among Herceg Novi festival scene. The sponsors of the Music Day are the Ministry of Culture of Montenegro and the Municipality of Herceg Novi. The artistic director and founder of the event is Boris Kraljević, and the head of the Art Council is prof. Milena Lucic, with whom the famous pianist grew up in his hometown. The Days of Music Festival has a dynamic that corresponds to the concept of a summer festival in accordance with the needs of the audience, following the tendencies at world festivals of classical and significant anniversaries and anniversaries. Artists from all continents perform on Herceg Novi stages, confirming that music is a universal language and that Art really makes the world a better place.
This international festival of classical music used to gather mostly young talent, but today very distinguished and respected authors and performs of classical music from all over the world take part in it.
The festival is held in the month of July.
Days of music have their second part from november to january, which is therefore called „Winter days of music“. Concert programs are conducted in the Dvorana Park and the sponsors of this elegant musical event are the Ministry of culture of Montenegro, Municipality and the Tourism organization of Herceg Novi, while the JUK Herceg Fest is the executive producer of the festival.
