Winter Flower, a large one-day musical event as part of the 54th Mimosa Festival in Herceg Novi, will celebrate the end of winter and the arrival of spring on Saturday, February 25th, 2023.
This unique party, organized by Exit and the Tourism Organization of Herceg Novi, is led by one of the most popular artists of the world house scene, ranked third on DJ Mag's list of 100 best performers, the masked grandmaster Claptone at his premiere performance in Montenegro!
Alongside him, the main star will be the regional woman of the year, the fantastic Konstakta, together with the group Land of groove. Local support will be provided by the charming and energetic Kate along with representatives of the Montenegrin electronic scene P.S. and God. The idea behind Exit's name - Winter Flower, is a tribute to the mimosa, the only flower that blooms during winter. This natural rebel thereby transcends laws and rules in a unique way. The concepts of winter and flowers are mutually exclusive in almost all other cases because the appearance of flowers actually marks the end of winter and the arrival of spring. For this reason, it is celebrated, among other things, at the Mimosa Festival, a large gathering under masks, an event with decades of tradition and guests from the entire region and Europe.
For the first time in Montenegro, one of the world's most intriguing DJs, Claptone, will perform at the Winter Flower event. With a doctor's like authority behind the DJ desk that emerges from behind the now recognizable Venetian style mask, Claptone is synonymous with always great and difficult-to-repeat house and tech house DJ sets, inspired by the need for eternal and endless enjoyment of carefully selected tapes. His debut album "Charmer", which had 60 million hits on the Spotify service, delighted fans of electronic sound around the world, after which Claptone continues to make unforgettable performances.
Last year he was ranked high at number three on the prestigious DJ Mag Alternative Top 100 list, and this year he's on Beatport's top 10 best-selling artists list! His sound is described as deep and groggy, with a touch of melancholy laced with juicy funk.
After a spectacular premiere performance at this year's Sea Dance festival, which exceeded all fans' expectations, Konstrakta returns to Montenegro to sweep the Montenegrin audience off their feet once again with The land of groove.
Konstrakta delighted and conquered the whole world with her performance at this year's Eurovision, and as the biggest star of the summer, she toured the main stages at Sea Star and Exit, where she was the first domestic headliner in the history of the festival.
The fantastic line-up is joined by Montenegrin pop star Katarina Bogićević Kate, who is climbing the ladder of success at a great pace, while local support P.S. and Bodzie, in a back-to-back set will make sure you are dancing until dawn.
Entrance to the big Winter Flower party is free.
