In Herceg Novi, the jubilee 30th Herceg Novi April theater festivities opened

The jubilee 30th April theater festivities in Herceg Novi were officially opened last night in Herceg Novi with a spectacular performance of the National Theater in Belgrade's ballet "Who is singing there".

The performance was preceded by a poster exhibition, which was opened by the president of the Board of Directors of the Herceg Novi Theater, Vitka Vujnović, and Boban Madžarević, director of the Biro Konto printing house.

Madžarević expressed gratitude for the satisfaction he had all 30 years working and creating for HAPS. He pointed out that it is also a tribute to those who are now looking at all this from a different dimension and thanked Boć Vujović, Per Dubanek, Voj Kilibarda, Dragan Janković, Prelet (Milutin Prelević, ed.) and all those who made HAPS what it is today.

Although it is the oldest form of art, theater is still young, enough to inspire and start thinking, says the president of the Board of Directors of the Hercegnov Theater, Vitka Vujnović, and adds that theater is both a moment, it lives while the performance lasts, but it is also an eternity, because some plays are remembered for a lifetime.

The audience in the packed Hall of the Park followed with great interest the performance of the contemporary ballet, which showed energy and modernity even 20 years after the premiere, and the thunderous applause after the end confirmed the successful start of the festival.

A rich program awaits us at HAPS until the end of April, and tonight the play "Lullaby for Aleksija Rajčić", a play by the National Theater in Belgrade, based on the text by Đorđe Kostić, with music by Nevena Glušica, directed by Jug Đorđević, will be performed. It starts at 8:30 p.m., and tickets for 15 euros can be purchased at the ticket office of Dvorana Park.

The festival, which in its jubilee edition explores the relationship between theater and music, is organized by the Public Institution of Culture Herceg Fest and Herceg Novi Theater under the auspices of the Municipality of Herceg Novi, with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Media of Montenegro, numerous sponsors, friends of the festival and the media.
