The National Tourism Organization of Montenegro hosted the journalist team of the renowned Polish television channel TVN, which is one of the most watched in Poland with an audience of over 38 million viewers and is part of the prestigious Warner Bros. and Discovery group.
The reason for the visit was the recording of the show "Vidimo se" as part of the morning program, which is expected to premiere at the end of May this year. The show will show Montenegro through the prism of luxury, lifestyle, local culture, gastronomy and activities on the coast.
During their stay in Montenegro, from April 9 to 13, the team visited and filmed some of the most attractive destinations on the Montenegrin coast. The journey began in Budva, with a spectacular view of the island of Sveti Stefan and a performance by a local folklore ensemble, as well as an authentic culinary experience with a demonstration of the preparation of traditional dishes. This was followed by a walk through the old town of Budva and a visit to Ričardova glava beach.
"I am very happy to show Montenegro on the largest private television in Poland - TVN. I am delighted with nature, views and cities with a rich history, as well as the beautiful Bay of Kotor. Above all, I really like your people, your way of life and spending your free time. You are an extremely sociable nation that likes to welcome guests. Together with my television crew, we had a wonderful time in Montenegro and I can't wait to return." here", said the host of the show, Michał Cessanis, who is also the editor-in-chief of National Geographic Traveler magazine.
In the following days, the TV crew continued exploring the authentic places and natural beauties of Montenegro - they visited the Luštica peninsula, Porto Montenegro, Solila nature reserve, Herceg Novi and the village of Žlijebi, as well as tourist spots in Kotor. They especially enjoyed visiting rural households, and then touring Virpazar and Lake Skadar.
The organization of this study visit was made possible by the National Tourism Organization of Montenegro, with the support of the local tourist organizations of Budva, Kotor and Herceg Novi, as well as the Casa del Mare hotel group.
This visit represents a significant activity in the promotion of Montenegro on the Polish market, with the aim of attracting new guests during 2025.
