All foreign citizens and Montenegrin citizens without registered residence in Montenegro are obliged to register their residence within 24 hours of entering Montenegro.If you are staying in a registered private accommodation or hotel, the accommodation service provider is obliged to do this for you within 12 hours of your arrival time.Also, a foreigner who resides in Montenegro for tourist purposes, and does not use the services of the accommodation provider, can apply for a residence permit in the tourist information centers.
