The main city street, open to traffic and pedestrians, is parallel to the main city promenade. The street is named after the famous bishop and poet, who spent part of his youth in Herceg Novi, studying at Topla with Josip Tropović. Njegoševa Street, the traffic and pedestrian core of the city, follows the road from Topla to Herceg Novi, intersecting with shortcuts and stairs leading to the sea.
In Njegoševa Street there are numerous city administrative centers and institutions such as the post office in Herceg Novi, the Municipality of Herceg Novi, houses where famous writers and poets Ivo Andrić lived, then Stevan Raičković, Park Hall, cafes, boutiques, headquarters of mobile operators, etc.
